Thank you for looking at our auction. ATV: This listing is for a 2008 Honda 700XX Sport ATV with reverse, Independent Rear Suspension, and Electronic Fuel Injection! The 700XX is a very peppy 4-stroke that is a blast to ride and will literally last you a lifetime with just regular maintenance. It is a liquid-cooled engine for maximum performance and longevity. The 4-stroke 700cc engine is backed up by the awesome 5-speed manual shift transmission with a clutch. The best part is that, unlike many other sport ATVs, this XX has reverse. Reverse is something no ATV should be without in our opinion. This machine has Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI). EFI makes hard cold starts a thing of the past. It automatically adjusts the air/fuel ratio for temperature and altitude so it's always at the correct ratio to provide the smoothest power delivery as well as easy starting. No choke or carburetor to worry about. Just turn the key, put it in gear, and you're gone.Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) adds to the comfort by clearing obstacles and moving smoothly through ruts and over rough terrain. It is much easier on your back and also lets the machine maintain maximum ground clearance unlike solid axle bikes. This is a very nice setup that handles surprisingly close to the characteristics of those solid axle machines.This machine utilizes a double wishbone suspension in the front as well as the rear, with the front offering 10.5" of suspension travel and the rear offering 9.3" of travel. The brakes are all hydraulic with 2 in the front and a single brake on the rear drivetrain. If you are reading this you probably know about Honda's legendary quality. We get to work on every ATV out there and the simple truth is that Honda's are simply a better made product than the competition. In addition to all the features this machine offers, it also has a set of PowerMadd hand guards and a set of new Kenda Kutter tires. The hand guards provide great protection for your hands against thorn bushes and tree limbs. No more removing your hands from the bars when getting into a thicket. This makes for a much safer ride. The tires are also a great addition as they provide great traction, all the predictability you'd need, and a long tread life that you'd expect from a good tire. Of course it does come with a clear title. Condition: This machine is in great used condition. This model doesn't come standard with a speedometer or hour meter so we cannot tell you how many miles or hours are on it. It is hard to find pre-owned sport ATVs that are this nice. They are usually abused, rode hard and put away wet, but this one is definitely the exception to the rule. The engine is perfect and fires immediately. The chassis and suspension are in excellent shape with nothing damaged, bent, or broken. It revs perfectly and runs great with no misses, noises, leaks, or smoke. The brakes all function perfectly and the suspension is nice and tight with no play in the wheel bearings, tie-rod ends, etc. The plastics are in great shape with a just some light scratches here and there, but that should be expected when looking at a used ATV. The only notable blemishes on this bike is a couple of spots on the lower side panels where they got scratched by boots. These scratches are very common and do not affect any form or function of this machine. Everything on it functions exactly as it should. The engine is 100% stock and has not been opened up. Overall, this is a very nice quad that offers all the features you'd expect from a Honda. There's no doubt in our minds that anyone who owns this machine wouldn't be thrilled. Details: Overall this is a very nice ATV that will make someone very happy. As for transaction details, We are MLS Powersports, located in Georgetown, Kentucky (40324). We are right off Interstate 75, 15 miles North of Lexington, KY and 75 miles South of Cincinnati, OH. Our preference is that you pick this machine up with cash in person, but we will also accept a certified check, or bank to bank wire transfer. It MUST be paid for (not necessarily picked up) within 7 days of the auctions close. We are willing to ship it but you must make the arrangements. If you pick this ATV up in person, we are required by law to charge you 6% Kentucky sales tax. We will provide the winner with a KY Certificate of Sales tax paid. When you title this ATV in your home state they WILL credit the 6% back to you and you will only have to pay the difference (if there is any) to your local sales tax. (Except in West Virginia) We do this all the time, do not worry, you will not have to pay sales tax twice. If you have it delivered to you, anywhere outside of Kentucky, you do not have to pay Kentucky sales tax but may still have to pay sales tax in your home state. The only other exception to this sales tax rule is a valid state exemption for farm/agricultural use. If we ship, it must be paid in full first. This machine comes with a clean title that is ready to transfer. It will also come with a bill of sale and proof of being lien free. You are welcome to inspect it as long and well as you like before finalizing the deal, but it is used and sells as-is. Canadian Bidders: We sell many ATV's to Canada because it saves you a lot of money. We know the paperwork requirements and what it takes to get it done. However, it is very expensive to have an ATV shipped from door to door due to customs broker fees. If you pick it up yourself or have it shipped to a border town and do your own border crossing you will save thousands vs buying in Canada. We also have a shipper we can direct you to who has many warehouses along the border where it can be shipped to and stored until you pick it up.
