For sale is a 2000 Volkswagen Golf TDI four door hatchback. It runs and drives, has a current Pennsylvania Inspection Sticker, is very fuel efficient and in being sold with no reserve. The 1.9L four cylinder turbo charged diesel runs good without a miss but is a little sluggish accelerating. It may have a turbo issue. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly without hesitation. The steering, suspension and brakes seem normal. The exterior is a glossy green. It is not perfect. No major dents but there are a few scratches and there is a substandard body repair on the right front fender (see pic). The lights and lenses are clear and crack free. The windshield is crack free. The tires, on factory alloy wheels, have about 15% tread (see pic). The interior is tan carpet and cloth seats. They are reasonably clean for the miles but could use a good shampoo. No holes, burns, etc. The glove box door is broken (see pic). There is an aftermarket Alpine sound system with CD. The AC is cold. All the power options such as sunroof, cruise control, side mirrors, windows, etc. work as designed. These car can generally run into the hundreds of thousands of miles at 50 MPG. This one is a good possibility. The new owner will have no problems driving home. This pre-owned Golf is being sold by a Maryland Used Car Dealer.
