Vehicle Detail
I am listing for a friend who purchased the car here on ebay back 4- 5 years ago and has not done much with it since . The car was purchased here on ebay for $11,500 plus shipping to NY from Tennessee ( have paper trail from prior owner ) and was sold as needing some work but a daily driver . The car is a real mach 1 mustang ( 05 VIN ) with the original 351C "H": code 2V motor . It has been upgraded with a dual plane Edlebroc intake with a Holly 600cfm carb specific for the 2V /4V conversion for Ford and does run well . The down shift linkage needs to be adjusted or installed . The car car I believe a C6 trans and a 9 inch rear . It also has headers with full length exhaust and sounds great at idle and too loud for my taste upon acceleration but suits the car well . It was restored back in the 80's and showing age although it does have a very nice appearance overall . Both rear quarters look to have been replaced and done correctly , drivers side showing some bubbling in front of rear wheel in the black portion of paint . Bottoms of both doors have been repaired during that time as well and paint looks like it could be cleaned up for daily driving . tires are all 4 matching and correct originals , brakes feel good but squeak a little and are factory front power disc brakes . It does have the factory deluxe interior with center gauges and factory tachometer . It has a full length console with some circa 80's clock installed where the factory clock should be . Seats are in good shape , top of armrest of both door panels are cracked . All glass is fine , all chrome is very good , has front and rear spoiler . Underside looks good floors look good and shock towers as well as firewall . Torque boxes look good and I do not know if the floors/torque boxes were replaced but if so it must be long ago as they look original . Trunk is in pretty good shape overall , I did see some rust on very inner lower wheel well area's foward of the the rear pass side , was unable to get a picture very dark and small area . The pass side rear frame rail and front frame rail have an old school sub frame connector welded on but not on the drivers side ? Overall view is for the price of somewhere in the 7's where I will be able to sell it someone will get into a good cruise night car ,local daily driver . Although this is a running/driving car it will need some sorting out as all old car's do . The speedometer/odometer are working , the fuel gauge works , wipers , turn signals , brake lights , exterior lights , oil pressure and amp gauge all work . The horn , radio , temp gauge do not work . Any questions please ask , any inspection is welcome , NO ZERO FEEDBACK BIDDERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
