1978 Batavus HS50cc Scooter. Only 781 miles! Tires are good, runs good, paint and chrome is very nice for it's age, though there are a few blemishes and rust spots. I am second owner, my neighbor bought it brand new in 1979 from a dealer nearby. Has always been registered and I have the clear title in hand with current registration till Sept 2014. My wife enjoys riding it, but is ready to move up to a bigger more highway worthy motorcycle. Top speed is about 35, though there is a sticker on it that says manufacturer's recommended speed is 25mph. It looks like it's never been down, and we've never dropped it either. Just a fun little bike to ride, would be perfect for college or high school transportation. Lights work, but needs new tail light bulb and high beam bulb (low headlight bulb is ok). I'll throw in a gallon gas can with premix oil that we use for it. I live halfway between Des Moines Iowa and Omaha Nebraska right off Interstate 80. I won't ship, but might consider meeting you within about 30 miles of my house in either direction. This scooter could easily fit in the back of a mini-van if you took the flag pole off.
