This auction is for my 2001 Hyundai Accent　with only 81000 original miles on it. My wife purchased this car from a local Hyundai Dealer. In 2010 we sold it to our family friends when they needed a car quickly. A few months after that, I had serious mechanical problems with my Windstar and so we bought the Hyundai back. I drive this Hyundai daily. This is a great car that　has never disappointed me. Because we've had this Hyundai since it was new, we were able to do all of the　maintenance in a timely manner and it shows even on its cosmetic condition today. The interior is in a very good　shape, with a very little normal wear. This car was never involved in an accident; no body or paint work was ever done. Over the last couple years, a lot of important work was done to this car: - Exhaust Pipe-Flex Front by Walker - Timing Belt (original Hyundai Parts) - All other Belts around the engine (original Hyundai Parts) - Front Rotors, Brake Pads - Rear Brakes; new Drums, Brake Shoes and wheel Cylinder (just one side only) - Two new rear tires one and a half years ago - Two new front tires and wheel alignment by Midas in November 2013. - The Vehicle Emission Test Passed in July 2013, the next Test scheduled in April 2015. - There are no major engine　or transmission leaks. This car also has some issues. The biggest problem that I can find with this car is that the transmission shifts rough until the fluid inside warms up. It usually takes a few minutes or maybe the first 2-3 miles, especially in the morning after the long night break. Later during the day, it is not really a problem. This issue, I do not personally consider it to be that much of an issue, has been present in the car almost since we purchased it. I’m not sure why we did not deal with this while it was still under manufacturer guarantee, but I suppose we really needed the car and it probably did not bother us that much. In the morning, I just drive slower and do not accelerate quickly. After a few miles, the car drives as it should. Other than that, there are a few minor issues: - The hand brake needs adjustments - Two years ago my friend, a car mechanic, had replaced a few radiator hoses and probably one of the clamps is not tight enough so I just add a few drops of coolant from time to time. -There is minor hail damage on the body here and there. - There is minor body damage above the rear left bumper, caused by another car in a parking lot.
