Vehicle Detail
This 1988 Mazda 323 GTX is one of only 1500 examples which were imported into the United States. The vehicle is a one owner, which was kept in a garage for all of it's usable life. It was well maintained by a loving owner. The vehicle was close to our hearts, and has given us thrills that only a car with the charisma and pedigree of the 323 could. Unfortunately, our hearts were broken when the back end of the body began to rust from the inside out. Because of the Unique unibody construction used in the 323, the panels couldn't be restored. The rear brake lines have also rusted through, and ahve been removed. The rust has gotten to the point where the car is no longer safe to drive. Regardless, the mechanical components under the hood and down the drivetrain are still in pristine condition. Additionally, the vehicle bears a number of upgrades: -MX-6 Intercooler - K&N intake - Jet Coated Exhaust Manifold - Aluminum Flywheel - Reich Racing ECU - IHI 11/14 hybrid Turbo - Aftermarket Single Din Headunit in addition to the modifications on the vehicle, the Engine and Transmission were rebuilt at 130,000 miles and the car is now at 170,915. The combination of these modifications and the drive train rebuild make this an excellent parts car for any owner of a Mazda 323 GTX or any Mazda owner looking for performance parts. The car is not safe to drive, and must be either picked up with a trailer, or we can work out my delivering it for additonal cost.
