If you are looking for a "show truck", this is not it. However, if you are looking for an excellent running, cool sounding, fun, every day driver for a reasonable price. . .that could probably be made into a show truck. . .then you are in the right area! This truck's southern roots have allowed it to come a long way and remain a solid, reliable vehicle. It starts in the worst of weather with just a touch of the ignition, high-idles smoothly for a short time, then drops to a nice, normal idle. The 302 V8 is strong and sounds great with the shorty headers and dual exhaust. The transmission works fine, shifting nicely and kicks down smoothly when called upon. It has a modest body lift to accommodate the 12.50x33x15" Geolandar tires mounted on 10" wide chrome rims. Both the wheels, lug nuts and tires are new less than 5,000 miles ago. It has recently had a new radiator, alternator, oil pan gasket and a complete overhaul of the A/C with update to modern refrigerant. . .blows ice cold! The original radio has been upgraded to an AM/FM CD player with upgraded speakers. As far as I can tell, everything works great with the exception of the cruise control which just quit suddenly last week. A friend says it is probably the diode but I haven't tried replacing that yet so I don't know about that for sure. While I've done my best to describe this truck accurately and take representative pictures, please realize that I am not a professional truck dealer nor photographer.
