No reserve. $500 deposit due right after the auction ends. No zero rated bidders. This is a very original 1969 Mercury Cougar XR7. Factory original 351ci engine and FMX automatic transmission with 3.00 rear axle. Factory Air Conditioning and all of the components are in place. The original carb was rebuilt earlier this year. It starts up good, runs smoothly and idles good. The Bright Blue (code 6) body has all the original panels and it has never been painted, plus it is very straight and clean overall as shown. The transmission shifts into the gears as it should with no known issues. The power brakes stop fine. This has not been on the road in a couple years. It has been lot driven but that is it. Also I have not cleaned out the gas tank so I have it running off fresh fuel under the hood. The electronics work, as do the lights. The headlight doors close when you start it and slowly open awhile after turning it off. I was going to have this XR7 painted but I have been too busy with other things. The interior is original and in place. Trunk is solid. The floors are very clean and solid. I have a clean pink California title with it. No accidents ever and all the panels are completely original. This is for NON California residents only, otherwise a CA buyer will have a rebuilt title after it processes. Any other state it will retain its clean title and its also clear/clean for export. International buyers accepted. I have described it the best I can and I took 40 pictures to show it better than words can describe. It has the original data under the hood with the vin that matches the vin plate on the door. All questions will be answered quickly and honestly.
