Just traded in at Mercedes dealer in Virgina, Super clean TDI beetle, Garaged car in like new condition, Best year for the TDI (last year ALH engine) 50 mpg highway. I totally went over car and could find nothing needed. Body and chassis like new, No dings, not even a hint of surface rust under car (most of been used in summer and dry days only). Interior is excellent, shows no wear. Normal fine crack lines on driver seat leather from flexing. does not look like other seats were used. all rubber on car is like new, never left out in sun. Factor radio was replaced with Kenwood CD This is one of cleanest TDIs I have had overall, Tires, brakes, wheels all like new, Timing belt is recent. Price is firm due to condition, also these cars are getting impossible to find. I run a small shop specializing in TDIs and always have 10-12 in stock, give call if looking for another model or even veg oil car. 99-03 were the best TDIs made, minimal electronics, low service costs, and super reliable.
