1966 AMC AMBASSADOR 880 STATION WAGON Remember when you were a kid and you piled into the family station wagon and off you went for a week's vacation? You can relive those great memories with this fun AMC Ambassador wagon. 1966 was the first year that AMC choose to lose the iconic Rambler name changing it to Ambassador to compete with the more luxurious popular cars such as the Impala and Galaxie. So getting down to the nuts and bolts. This particular car is in nice shape for it's age. It's all original and very solid. Everything about this car is original including the paint, interior, and engine. To the best of my knowledge nothing has been altered on this car. Yes, the body does have some scratches, scrapes and dings, but it is 49 years old and never had a repaint. You can see from the pictures that the original dealer sticker is still on the rear of the car. The inside is very nice. The upholstery is in excellent condition. The engine's strong. The car received a complete tuneup this past spring. Notice that the inside of the wheel is color coded to match the interior of the car. The A/C is charged and working.
