Up for auction is a '48 DeSoto. I don't know much about the car, but please feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to answer them. The car is far from perfect so if you're looking for a show winning wonder..... move along. That being said the car starts up nice and runs ok. It has a funky fluid drive, which is half manual, half auto. I'll let you research that on your own as I will fail in the description. The brakes are nothing special, they stop the car, but the peddle goes low and it feels like the left front brake grabs more than the rest. The interior is pretty typical 1948 with the exception of the seat covers. The front is a truck seat cover and the rear is just a tarp. The previous owner carted a dog around with him so the tarp kept down on dog hair. Most of the glass has a crack, chip or something wrong with it, but it's all there and they roll up and down. The center of the grille is broken also, it has been repaired with some chrome strips. Please ask any and all questions. I will take more pictures and try to answer them to the best of my ability.
