Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is a running 1962 Studebaker Gran Turismo Hawk with a 289 V8 and automatic transmission on the column. It has 102,000 miles. This car was a barn find by the previous owner, and It's a all original, unrestored, and unmolested car. It was in dry storage for about 40 years in Pennsylvania, and I've owned it for only a couple of months. It runs rough, but it still starts right up after a couple of pumps even after sitting for a couple of weeks. The battery stays fully charged. It's had a tune up done, fuel filters and pump replaced. It will need a new passenger side muffler and tailpipe. The transmission does shift like it's suppose to. There are no brakes, It has a new master cylinder which is partially installed on the frame and has one out of two brake lines hooked onto it. It will need a new rear axle brake line, and possibly one of the brake lines that hook into the master cylinder. There are dents, scratches, and holes in the body with a few already patched up. The passenger side rocker will need full replacement, and the drivers might also, it's not as obvious as the passenger side. The interior is in nice shape with a few tears in the front seats. Both the inside and outside being the same color makes it a rare color combo from what I hear. The AM radio actually works, along with most dash gauges working, the exception might be the temp gauge, I'm not entirely sure on that one. The wipers work, headlights hi and low beam work, and both blinkers work. The taillights, brake lights, and license plate light don't work. Included are some extra parts, and all previous receipts and paperwork for the history of the car. Please see all pictures! It has a clear title. I deserve the right to end the auction early due to it being for sale locally. On Jun-25-14 at 15:34:06 PDT, seller added the following information: The frame, floors, and trunk are all solid with some/little surface rust. This is a solid #4 car with lots of potential. On Jun-28-14 at 12:48:55 PDT, seller added the following information: Lowered reserve price! On Jun-28-14 at 21:43:10 PDT, seller added the following information: Now a no reserve auction!
