This is a driver-quality car at BEST. Regardless of how the car may look in the photos, it was repainted (still it's original Daytona Blue) at some point nearly 30 years ago and the paint work is showing some serious signs of fatigue. This is a PERFECT rust-free restoration candidate given that it began life as a fuel car. It is also a car that could be driven regularly for FUN like these cars were intended, unlike the many that are locked up in a checkerboard floor garages full of sunoco tin and old gas pumps before being sang to sleep every night. If you are still reading, then here is some good news; the car starts up every single time and runs VERY strong and the brakes have plenty of bite left. I do not know much regarding the internals of the currently installed 350 V8 but the aluminum heads and aftermarket headers are apparent. The transmission shifts very smooth and the car tracks razor straight on the interstate. It handles corners about as well as you would expect for a 50 year old sports car with radial tires on 6 inch wheels. As I stated originally, the car looks rough in person, even though I took these photos today (6/24/2014) the pictures make the car look nicer than it is.
