the good; THE PRICE$numbers matching, coveted rare color (# 6854)little to no rust, rust is not an issue at all with this desert life carvery complete and unmolested original car that is rock solid, doors close with a thud, windows up and down feather light...no known accidentsall gaps and panel fit are super straight excellent driver...shifts like butter...brakes solid...steering laser straight...motor starts right up and no issues knowntwo new Interstate 911 batteriesjust fluid flushed and complete tune upall guages and systems functioning as expected. 'newer' toyo tireswheels cosmetically a 9.5 out of 10, perhaps refinished at some point?rubber trim on car is in great condition, barely flawed anywhere, but a lazy respray has left red paint on lots of rubber trim...more on the lazy respray lateroriginal headliner and carpets - excellent patina and definitely useable going forwardseats are for consideration, original with flaws and may be repairable as is...if not, I am providing a beautiful correct vinyl seat 'kit' that includes both seats and headrests complete/new (see photo) - excellent valuedash presently has a 'cap'. I am also including a just acquired dash 'restore' 'kit' as well. Also have the original speaker grille in excellent conditionhave complete and like new condition books/manuals have original air conditioning 'York' compressor and some plumbing as a/c is presently disconnectedhave original air 'shroud', presently running aftermarket K&N air filtershave 6 original 1968 date stamped Fuchs alloys, 2 with snow tires, the spare and the 6ththe lazy respray means that another quality respray kind of makes sense now and who doesn't like a blemish free, freshly painted car? the door jams and most of the out of the way and underside places are still wearing excellent condition original paint. A careful prep and 'sympathetic' respray and perhaps a change of oversprayed rubber trim and this car easily goes to #2 condition with valuations seen as high as $80K. I was going to redo the seats, the dash, and carefully repaint the car and it would be a stunner with minimal effort and budget.all glass and brightwork is in excellent condition, no chips, scratches, surface rust, blemishes, etc...just clean and straight, perfect for reuse on a freshly painted car the bad;those black 'fugly' patches are only PAINT! there was no metal repair, welding, holes, etc. The previous owner just slapped black paint on there to prevent rust, not to repair or correct anything. I have included close up detailed photos of this area showing solid metal, front and back. Do not let this be a deterrent, I reiterate, rust is not an issue with this car at all. this car apparently came 'stock' with foglights, so originals will have to still be sourced...but are available, dash switch and wiring in place. I pulled the junk replacements that were on theredont have the original exhaust/heat exchanger...but the aftermarket period ANSA set up is really cool dont have the original shift knob, again period ANSA on there, and originals available all the timedont have the tool kit, available summary; this is a great car to acquire and enjoy as is right now, drive regularly, rally, etc...or a great car to acquire and do a few projects (major being paint) and take it to a solid #2 condition car. I simply have too many cars, not enough space, tools, expertise or $ to do this one - but any Porsche enthusiast at least has a more affordable entry opportunity here on a great car. A total of zero people have seen or driven this 911, so no one is rejecting the car, just the price. I've lowered it every relist, can't imagine going lower now for such a sweet example. Bid with confidence at this valuation. On Jun-28-14 at 06:15:02 PDT, seller added the following information: The 'buy it now' price was/is $44k
