Original California built 1968 Mercury Cougar XR7. This is an original J code 302ci 4bbl XR7. This XR7 has always lived in southern California. It has been properly maintained and it runs great as the video shows. It has had the carb redone, newer dual exhaust, all the brakes fully rebuilt this year. $1500 Brand new wheels and tires Cooper Cobra white letters with the letters turned in. The floors, frame, and trunk are excellent and rot free as shown. Very dry solid car with just a few small spots that need repair as the photos show. The 302 starts right up and idles nicely. Fully tuned up. Blows no smoke and it is not cold blooded. No real leaks or issues that I have noticed that have not already been fixed. Ready to drive anywhere. Recently taken on a 40 mile trip and it runs smooth. Very quick. Current California registration through 2015 and clean pink title in hand. Reverse is going and sometimes does not engage.
