Vehicle Detail
Lowered Price 1926 Cadillac Coupe Parts Car I purchased this parts car about 6 years ago, and intended to use it to restore my '27 Caddy. This isn't going to happen. Too many projects, not enough time. This car was going to be restored by a previous owner. He died, leaving the car in pieces. This car was then stored away for almost 35 years. The next owner was going to make a street rod out of it, but never did. The car is restorable. The car is in pieces. Most of the pieces are there. The major missing pieces are: Windshield Frame, Trunk lid and sheet metal below it, Seat springs. There are no bumpers either. The bad stuff: Aluminium bottom end of engine has a hole by the flywheel. Aluminium floorboard section is broken. Rusted out tool boxes and fender area below. The good stuff: Doors excellent (with glass), Drum headlamps, good wood wheels, frame and rear suspension supposedly restored (35-40 years ago). Body and fenders are decent, but require some work. Body wood appears good. Body is in red/brown primer, orig color was green. The unknown: I have not tried to turn the engine over, but it appears complete. Transmission condition unknown. Tires held air 6 years ago. Car is full of wood, which should be the seat frames. (see pictures) The car is currently in an enclosed 18' car trailer. Delivery possible within 350 miles of northern NH (03262) for a nominal fee. Also, trailer may be sold as package deal. This auction is for CAR ONLY !!!! I will answer questions by email only. Car can be seen in North Woodstock, NH by appointment. A similar Caddy (restored) sold last year at auction for $ 65,000. Black & white photo of car is from an internet site, and shows what a restored car should look like.
