Up for auction is my 1996 BMW R1100RT ABS. I purchased this motorcycle for a "bucket list" ride out to the grand canyon. I rode this bike just over 4400 miles in 7 days. The only issue the bike had on the trip was the screws holding on the front fender had backed out somewhere around albuquerque and the fender rubbed the front tire. (see pictures) After installing the new screws it was ready to go. Before the trip I had the following done to the bike: New clutch and driveshaft lubeNew front and rear tiresNew front and rear brakesCee-Bailey +2 WindscreenBead rider for the seatHid headlight bulbK&N air filterPull back risersFootpegs were moved back and lowerUSB/SD/FM Radio with remote that plays through the factory speakers. This RT is in very good condition and has 52,900 miles on it. The mechanicals are fine and for it's age it looks great. There are a few scratches here and there, check out the photos, and anyone local is welcome to check out the bike in person. Also there is a couple of scuffs/chips where the pull back risers have bumped into the fuel tank cover at full lock left and right. - Not that bad but its there. Comes as shown with the OEM BMW hard bags. These bags are all keyed with to factory ignition, and 1 key starts the bike and will unlock all 3 bags. This BMW also has the ABS, Heated grips, throttle lock, power windscreen, factory tool kit, etc.. I would hop on this bike tomorrow and ride it anywhere.
