Vehicle Detail
1987 ALFA ROMEO SPIDER QUADRIFOGLIO CONVERTIBLE Silver w Red Interior The Quadrifoglio Verde (Green Fourleaf Clover) model was introduced in 1986, with many aesthetic tweaks, including sideskirts, mirrors, new front and rear spoilers, hard rubber trunk mounted spoilers with integral 3rd stoplight, and unique 15" alloys. Different interior trim included blood red carpets. It was offered in only 3 colours: red, silver and black. It was mechanically identical to the standard Spider Veloce model, with a 1962 cc double overhead cam, four-cylinder engine. North American models retained the Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection introduced for the 1982 model year except that the VVT mechanism was now L-Jet activated and featured five-speed manual transmission. This is a great running sports attractive car. Pros - Starts runs and drives excellent. It comes with service records. The body is very straight and rust-free. Has always resided in California or Texas. This car has solid floors and rockers. There is a hole the size of a quarter in the spare tire well, otherwise the car is amazingly rust free. The seats have been reupholstered and the carpet is in nice shape. The convertible top is in very good condition. Good tires and exhaust. Sport steering wheel installed. Original steering wheel included. Comes with a clear Texas title. Cons. Passenger side power window doesn't work. I don't know if it's something electric (fuse or switch) or the motor itself. I haven't taken the time to investigate. I have a manual crank that can retract the window. There is a crack in windshield. The A/C is present but doesn't work. The paint looks good from 20 feet, but it needs to be repainted to look really sharp. Withing the past 10,000 miles or so, the following work has been professionally done (with receipts): New Clutch New Front & Rear Brakes New Water Pump New Fuel Pump and Filter New Water Pump New Distributor & Rotor Call Steve at 972-900-4142 if you have any question.
