Here is a super rare, two owner 1984 Subaru Brat GL 4WD pickup truck!! This Brat is equipped with the 4 cylinder, 1.8L motor, a 4 speed manual transmission and Dual Range four wheel drive, FWD, 4WD-HI&4WD-LO!! The body of this Brat is very, very straight, no scratches, no dents and no dings, never wrecked. The paint shines and looks beautiful! No Rust, None. This Brat was bought brand new at Sundown Subaru, inc. in Eugene, Oregon by the first owner, the second owner lived in Mount Shasta, California! Oregon&California vehicle since day one! Still has it's original rear seats and the GemTop canopy which was purchased and installed on 1-19-85, please see pictures!! The paint on the passengers side is starting to show some age in the clear coat when standing up close, please see pictures. Also, the rear drivers side tail light lense has a crack, please see pictures. Both the owners were meticulous and took excellent care of this Brat since purchase, this pickup was never abused, four wheeled or used as a work vehicle! We have all of the original owners manuals and warranty&service booklets, the original Subaru service manual, the original window sticker, the original retail instalment contract, the original Subaru dealer preperation check list&a Subaru dealer directory booklet, as well as a hand written log of All maintenance and service performed since day one, including oil changes, differential and transmission fluid changes, valve&timing adjustments, fuel&air filters, plugs, distributor cap&rotor, wheel aligments, radiator flushes&thermostats, brake flushes, fan belts, tire rotations&balance, etc, all done at recommended intervals including the first oil change being recorded at 12-22-84 at 1,421 miles, transmission&differential oil changed on 1-10-1985 at 1,641 miles!! The interior is in great shape. There are no cracks in the dashboard, please see pictures. We have the original dash mat which will be included in the sale. The headliner as well as the sun visors are in excellent condition. The drivers seat has a split in the vinyl. Passenger seat is in great shape, please see pictures. The carpet is in good shape as well, no rips and only a few small stains, please see pictures. The shift knob is not original. The door panels are also in great shape, please see pictures. The motor starts instantly and purrs, just serviced, fresh engine oil&filter service as well as a complete carburator re-build!! The engine is all stock, never modified in any way!! Also, in the past few thousand miles there was a new water pump installed, thermostat, radiator cap, air filter, both fuel filters, spark plugs, heater hose, belt, right&left CV axles as well as valve cover gaskets&a valve adjustment was performed!! The 4 speed manual transmission shifts very smooth!! All 4 tires are still in good shape, Michelin X-Ice, size LT 175/70R13 mounted on stock factory Subaru wheels!! There is a slight wobble between 15-30mph, according to Les Schwab tire center it's in one of the tires, possibly due to their age. Please keep in mind that this is an older vehicle and is not in new condition!! Please expect normal wear and tear for a vehicle of this age and miles, this is not a brand new vehicle and it is not perfect!!
