Vehicle Detail
My wonderful truck can be your wonderful truck. It still looks great, runs great and works hard. There are tiny blemishes (very small chips) commensurate with the number of miles driven and mine and friends' changes of address. Keeping that in mind, the exterior looks terrific. The worst paint has nothing to do with mileage; it is the F-150 emblems on the side. There are no dents on the body. As any truck owner knows, you automatically get the call to help whenever furniture need moving or someone need to haul something. This is, of course, in addition to the new capabilities you'll have as the owner of this truck. The towing hitch is included (Over 2,500 lbs tongue capable - in any case, it is good enough for you to use an auto trailer with it - UHaul-approved). The bed liner is intact and in good condition. Many F-150s have issues with the brake rotors warping, even (or especially) with OEM equipment. I swapped the OEM version for drilled and slotted rotors. In addition, you won't have to worry about the single-use bolts Ford deemed a good idea [sinister plot]. If you wish to replace the brakes on your own or remove the rotors to eventually replace them, you won't have to worry about that any more. The upgrade negates the required single-use torque nuts from the equation. For reference, I purchased them from BrakePerformance dot Com Since I purchased them, I've simply not had any more problems with brake heat or warped rotors - just smooth driving.
