1959 Chevrolet Apache ½ ton truck, short bed/step-side, Clear Colorado title, LOCATED IN LOVELAND COLORADO, running a 283 V8, with rare power pack heads, headers, 4 speed Camaro transmission, Camaro rear end, real knockoff rims in great shape, engine starts and runs but the brakes do not work.. Ignition switch is not working so I start it with a bypass starter switch.. Very complete, but it needs work to be put on the street again.. Truck body parts are fairly rust free and good condition.. Mounting points very solid, almost no rust in the usual places.? This Old truck appears to have originally been Army Green as the firewall is absolutely, Army Green.. Bed and rear fenders in very good condition., nickel sized rust spot on the front inside back passenger side fender by the running board, is all I have found to date.. Floorboards inside are good no rust in the well step or by the kick panels.. Good suspension sits very straight in the stock posture.. There is damage to the driver's side front fender.. It's just bent and not rusted, some body filler is obvious but for body damage.. Because of the Camaro transmission the shifter is located coming from under the seat.. I do have a decent Saginaw 4 speed I would trade out.. That would put the shifter in the proper location.. The hood hinges are shot and the door window mechanisms need work.. I'd say it is ready to be turned into a very cool Hot Rod truck, Custom, Rat Rod truck or just a daily driver.. Very complete vehicle, Speedometer/gage cluster, door handles, trim and small items., but the radio has been removed. Please see attached photos, more photos available on request..
