Up for sale is a 1983 GS 550E. This is a good running and riding motorcycle. I have recently done some work on it including a tune up and oil change. Other new parts include a new throttle cable and a brake fluid flush. The motorcycle does have a 4-into-1 header with a kerker slip on pipe. Bike is not perfect and needs fork seals and the carbs tweaked for optimum performance. It does smoke a little but I am sure it is the carbs because the plugs are not fouled and it does not use oil. The plastics are in bad shape but it can be rode without them. The warning lights for oil and the side stand stay lit in dash but it is just a loose wire in the harness. This bike runs and rides great, shifts good , plenty of clutch left. great bike for someone who likes to tinker but wants to ride and not spend years with a basket case. The pictures tell the story but if there are questions I will try to answer them.The bike has a clear Pennsylvania title and has NO warranty. I will do my best to assist buyer with pick up or shipping within reason. I know this bike is worth more in pieces but I hate to part out a good running bike. Good luck and thanks for looking.
