You are looking at a real deal 1965 Nova Super Sport. It is the rare factory color code P P, evening orchid. It was painted the current shade of blue around 1973. You can see evening orchid peeking through all over and under the weatherstrips, etc. It was originally a powerglide automatic with the super sport console but was changed to a 4 speed also around 1973. The original PN coded 283/195 horse engine is still in it and is untouched with the original air cleaner, valve covers, etc. It runs and drives great and still retains all of the very hard to find and expensive lower Super Sport trim. The wheel well openings have been removed but they are reproduced. There were only 9100 Super Sport Novas built in 1965 and very few were painted Evening Orchid. Good 1965 Nova Super Sports are very hard to come by. Don't let a factory Evening Orchid SS slip away. This car is very solid with only a few bubbled areas. The floors appear to be very nice and the trunk just has some surface rust from the rubber mat years ago. I have had several 65 Super Sports over the last 20 years and this one is a perfect one to either drive as is or my preference would be to restore the car back to its original configuration and color.
