This is a G&K conversion with a VIN # WME4503321J249973. I am listing it as a 1965 so i can get around the VIN issue Ebay having issues with the vin number, common with these cars. 58,500 miles of the usual wear, oil changed every 3000 miles. Car was rear ended when only one week old, required new exhaust, left rear fender and bumper, no damage to the frame. Starter replaced, left low beam has a bypass wire on the circuit board as the connector failed. Everything works. I recharge the AC every July as these cars leak AC gas. Cruise control, bike rack, under driver seat storage drawer. Great car, easy to park, 40 mpg max. I modified the bike rack so I don't need to lift the bikes so high. The modification required I put folding pedals on the bike closest to the car. The rack can easily be put back to original specs but then you need to lift the bikes higher than the brake lights. Also adding spare oil filters, I have the spin on oil filter adapter. I have the original cartridge filter set up if you want to put that back on. Spare driving lights, brake lights, two sets of front brake pads. A binder with a few repair guides. Spark plug remover tool, a few body panel clips. Cabin and engine air filter. I drive this car year round. Happy Bidding on a fun car to own. On Jun-03-14 at 13:48:52 PDT, seller added the following information: I put one set of brake pads on the car so there is only one spare left. I recommend the front rotors be replaced.I had a potential buyer test drive the car and we both agree it seems to have less power than his Smart car. A mechanic recommend new spark plugs and wires. There is also the potential that the turbo is not working, but that is beyond me looking into at this moment. Buyer beware. The car is going to sell just wanted to be open about what was discovered during our test drive.
