This auction is for a very rare Suzuki GS850G motorcyle. This is the last of the true 70's suzuki GS models.this was the last year of the points, chrome front fender, has kick start along with electric start (both) which was a luxury soon removed for manufacturing costs that raised in the 1980's. Also has the last of the rare racing mikuni MIC carbs that came stock in 1979! This has the standard gear selector that lights up in each gear. This model is also SHAFT DRIVE !!! Double disc brakes in front a large single disc in the rear. Everything works and is in unbelievably great shape. Mostly all original. Newer tires were put on last year as well as the fork seals were done last year as well. I also put a new battery in last year and have kept it on the battery maintainer and always turns over quickly. This was a occasional weekend ride a few times a year to vintage show events that astounded everyone. and even though not a museum piece, it is very very nice. Look at the pictures to see just how nice this bike is. The motorcycle runs great even though it is cold blooded as all vintage bikes are but warms up nice and idles fine. I would have no problem riding cross country on it anytime. This is truly a very rare bike that is highly sought after. Title is clear and no back dmv fees . Cant verify if any items were replaced, changed, or painted through the years for this 35 year old motorcycle. I'm not original owner. There are some light scratches on tank and side covers from over the years as well as some pitting here and there on the chrome on bars, and such. Just typical wear from being ridden. Naturally could use a detail since it has been almost five years since I have done it , besides wiping it down for shows. And fluids changed as well as tune up for any motor vehicle. Again, with this said the bike is great and runs great. Just remember, as listing states. It is not a museum piece but a driver. and it has typical small blemishes.
