1974 AMC GREMLIN This is a near perfect surviving AMC Gremlin. This car gets smiles and stories like no other classic car I’ve owned, and I’ve owned more than 100 vintage cars. The car runs beautifully and it has ice cold air conditioning and silky smooth power steering. It will make a wonderful classic daily driver for somebody. It has an automatic transmission that shifts through the gears perfectly. The engine is an in-line six cylinder that moves the car nicely but doesn’t guzzle gas. The engine doesn’t smoke, knock or rattle. It runs great! Over $8,000 has been spent on this car over the past year. It has new paint and graphics, a rebuilt front end, new tires, brakes, alternator, and more. The car has only 81,000 original miles we were told, and that seems correct. The car is very solid with all original sheet metal and floors. There are no patches in the floors etc. All the lights, gauges, horn, A/C, Heat, CD/Radio, wipers, turn signals etc. work! The brakes are strong too but not power. This funky car has eminence collector potential, people flat out love it, or love to hate it. Inside the car looks nearly new and there is not one crack in the dash or seats. This car is not an "X" model, that graphic was added after the new paint job.
