1986 BMW 528e "Black lightening" is up for sale! Black with black aftermarket wheels, tan interior. These cars were built to last and came with everything! Electric windows, seats, doors, roof, air con( not blowing cold-needs gas i think?). Purchased in California, I was told by the previous owner that it was in his family most or all of its life. Body is in pretty good condition, drivers doors have been repaired at some stage and paint is a little faded, also little on the hood. The interior needs work, but all electric windows roof and seats operate. Has bluetooth ipod/iphone connectable stereo fitted. This nice little beamer has been sitting for a couple months whilst I was overseas, and has expired tags- OCT 2013. The car failed smog prior to me travelling, and i was told that it needs a new catalytic convertor (Quoted $250 installed at one garage) to pass before reregistering. Also told that there could be an oil leak. While I was away it was started regularly, she still runs well and drives. Just replaced a tire due to puncture, all 4 are good and have plenty of life left. Mileage is a guess, as the clock was changed when the previous owner replaced the motor for some reason. To be picked up from Venice CA, at bidders expense. Car is sold AS IS. I am obviously not a mechanic and have done my best to describe the vehicle as accurately as possible and to the best of my knowledge. $250 non refundable deposit to be paid via paypal within 48 hours of winning bid.
