Vehicle Detail

Up for auction from my collection is my 1976 CB750K. The frame number appearing on this CB750 is CB750-2573524 and the engine number appearing on this CB750 is CB750E-2463141 making this a numbers matching correct original motorcycle. The odometer currently reads 12,967 original miles which is the actual and correct mileage of this outstanding CB750. This CB750 is one of the nicer 1976 examples in my personal collection but unfortunately with the amount of motorcycles I have collected over the years I now realize I am never going to have time to enjoy them all and have decided to let a few of my nicer examples go. I would like to stress the fact that this CB750 should not be confused with the other CB750’s that are commonly offered for sale that have been neglected, molested and were recently drug from someone’s garage. As you can see from the pictures, this CB750 should easily clean up. I have always taken excellent care of this CB750 and have always kept it in a ready to use state and have used it very sparingly and have always kept it as clean and correct as possible while still having it in a condition that is ready to ride comfortably. This CB750 is no doubt in the top tier as far as condition, originality, cleanliness and correctness are concerned. Mechanically, this CB750 is sound and is barley broken in with its low mileage. The motorcycle easily starts when choked and after it’s warmed up idles quietly and smoothly. It recently had the carburetors and brakes professional restored by a qualified Honda mechanic. The CB750 has always had regular oil changes and runs smoothly and correctly. The oil is changed and ready for this riding season as well. The motor runs quietly and does not smoke. The engine is original and has not been taken apart or overhauled. The engine side covers have always been kept very nice and should easily clean up. The bike is a real pleasure to ride. I have used it very sparingly as long as I have owned it and have always kept the engine area and the rest of the motorcycle very clean. The front brake functions and quickly and smoothly brings the CB750 to a stop when applied. The front brake does not leak and is in proper working order. The rear brake also functions properly. Cosmetically, this outstanding CB750 sports the original body work in excellent original condition. The fuel tank is clean inside with bright and shiny metal and no rust of any kind-very difficult to find an original fuel tank in this condition. The paint is some of the nicest original antares red paint I have seen on any CB750 and is still very deep and shines nicely. There is absolutely no fade anywhere on the fuel tank. The side covers also feature deep and rich original paint/emblems and are starting to develop hairline cracks simply from age. The seat on this CB750 is original and is a perfect condition original seat assembly including the supple original cover and glowing seat pan. The gauges on this example simply appear as new and are the nicest set of original CB750 gauges I have come across. They have absolutely no fade whatsoever and are still a deep green highlighted by intense reds on the tachometer and on the gauge needle tips. I would recommend the new owner carry a small blanket to cover the gauges if leaving it outside to preserve the quality of the gauges. The gauge and dash board lights also still function and light as do turn signals etc. The front and rear fenders are in excellent original condition and have no visible issues with very nice factory chrome still present. The handlebars are also the correct originals and shine nicely and are straight. The handlebar switches are also the correct originals in very good condition. The brake, shift and kick lever are also in excellent condition and look great. The rear grab bar is also straight. The original rear shocks are in excellent condition as well and function correctly. The frame on this CB750 features the original paint which is a deep black and in overall outstanding original condition. I always took great care to maintain the frame paint by occasionally hand waxing all reachable areas of the frame. The chain guard is also the correct original and is not cracked or damaged and features the factory warning labels still intact. The tires are in near new condition as well making this CB750 very fun and comfortable to ride as desired by the new owner. The original horn is in excellent condition and has a bright and crisp beep every time the horn button is depressed. I have also always maintained the under seat area of this CB750 and kept it very clean and correct. The exhaust on this CB750 is the correct original exhaust (HM341) that came on the motorcycle and are in nice overall condition. The pipes are solid and have no major rust through or leaking issues. This original exhaust would be nearly impossible to find in this kind of overall nice condition condition. These original exhaust pipes should not be confused with other sellers that are offering CB750’s with new aftermarket pipes installed that are currently available from aftermarket/amateur suppliers. The CB750 I am offering should not be confused with the examples others are trying to sell that they pieced back together in their dirt floor shop or thought it would be cool to turn into their idea of a café racer. This CB750 has nothing to do with most of the CB750’s commonly offered by amateur hobbyists. I also of course have a clear title and keys for this CB750. This CB750 is ready for export if the new owner lives in another country. I would like to stress once more that this outstanding CB750 should not be confused with the others that the general public has to choose from. It has nothing to do with and never will have anything to do with the average CB750. It is overall clean, original, correct and well preserved it would be very, very difficult to find another one in this sort of condition especially from a reliable collector with outstanding feedback from selling New Old Stock parts and vintage Japanese motorcycles. This CB750 would be the perfect example to add to a collection or enjoy on the open road this summer. The bike needs absolutely nothing and is in excellent, clean, maintained and correct condition. Regarding Payment and Shipping, I will accept a wire transfer or a certified check for the CB750. Payment must be received within 10 days of the close of the auction.
