1969 MG Midget Mk.III Great Project Car / Candidate for Restoration We purchased this car about 3 years ago with the intentionon completing the restoration started by the previous owner; however, interests have changed and it's time to let it go. CONDITION AND DESCRIPTION: The floor boards will need to be replaced in total. Rust thru is showing at the bottom of the door posts. The RF fender has some minor collision damage. Otherwise, the car appears to be solid and straight. Some body work has been started on the rear end (see pics); however, some rust is showing through the older repairs. Includes car as received from previous owner. I have not fully-inventoried all parts, but it looks like it is all there, plus numerous extras. (see pics) Includes a replacement hood (blue hood in pics) as well as original hood (green hood in pics) Includes a replacement windshield as well as the original, still mounted. Includes a REBUILT WEBER DGV (downdraft) carb and REBUILT INTAKE MANIFOLD. These have been mounted and connected to the controls. Original carbs, intake manifold, heat shield, and air cleaners are included, but will need to be rebuilt if you decide to use them. Engine is in running condition - Engine turns over with starter, has good compression and ignition; however, the flywheel ring gear appears to be missing some teeth preventing the engine from turning over continuously. Clutch operates well, but has not been tested with engine running. Transmission shifts gears smoothly, but has not been tested with engine running. Car rolls smoothly (easy to move around shop). Doors, hood, and trunk lid are loose and have been set in place for photos. (see pics) Doors are in great shape. Original interior is included, but is good for patterns only. Includes top bows and top. Top has shrunk from age and needs to be replaced. Replacement seats included, but appear to be from a later year (1970?). Original wire wheels are solid and need to be cleaned up and painted. No spare is included. Original jack and wheel wrench are included.
