Euro Spec Model. Very Rare. 1974 280 SL--Only 297 of this model produced, This car is # 165. Unique Car, Has rear seats with fold down shelf. This car has the sweet running double overhead cam 2.8 six. Much lighter than the V8 and much better on fuel milage. Car also handles better with the benefit of the lighter engine. The car is surprisingly quick and rides nice. Notice the small bumpers along with the absence of all the power robing smog plumbing. This six is fuel injected and starts right up. The oil was just changed, it has a new alternator. The top was new when I purchased the car. The overall condition of the car is good, certainly not perfect. The car can be driven anywhere without concern. The AC needs a service and I do not know when the spark plugs or other service was performed as I purchased the car from an estate where the owner had died. I have had the car checked over and have driven it when I can. I have several other cars and just purchased a 911 that is taking the place of this one, that is why I am selling. The car is garaged and out of the weather.This car now has approx. 119,500 miles on it. It has power steering and automatic transmission. Stereo with CD. Electric windows. AC that needs service.
