Vehicle Detail

Up for bid, is my 1985 Chevrolet Silverado Extended Cab conversion! Have you ever seen one before? Now your thinking, "Chevrolet never made a Squarebody extended cab"! Well, that is correct. A conversion company named Custom Vehicles International in Arlington, Texas did most of the 2500 trucks done between 1983 and 1987. Another company did some also, but those did not look as good as these( it had a smaller side window). The price for the conversion in 1985 was $6000.00 over cost of the truck!! I bought this actual truck in Arkansas several years ago. It had been there since new, and 2 years ago I pulled it to South Carolina. This is still a PROJECT truck, with some work needing to be done to be a driver. Or you could build an AWESOME show truck, and you know there WON'T BE ANOTHER ONE AROUND!!!! To be driven, it will need new tires, a power brake booster installed (one is included), front brakes, Idler arm and some engine tuneing. This truck runs and drives, but is not roadworthy just yet. This truck has all the Silverado equiptment like power windows, power locks, tilt wheel, am/fm cass radio, a/c (all parts are there, but has no Freon ) and I installed a factory tach. The dash is perfect and the headliner is too. The bed floor is dented pretty good, because it was used as a ..... Truck. I hope someone buys this truck who will love it the way I did, I loved being different. This truck is DIFFERENT!On May-20-14 at 11:54:56 PDT, seller added the following information: Up for bid, is my 1985 Chevrolet Silverado Extended Cab conversion! Have you ever seen one before? New parts installed by myself are: new fuel tank and sender, new windshield, new battery, new starter, all 4 shocks, rear brakes and chrome accessories on the engine. The 305 engine was rebuilt at sometime, there is a tag on the front. This truck was originally red with white on the bottom and maroon interior. On May-24-14 at 05:08:18 PDT, seller added the following information: Just wanted to say, the truck will sell Sunday Night! The low reserve I set, has been met. Here is a website that is dedicated to trucks like these. This guy loves them, and knows more about them than anyone else.
