I purchased the car in June 2012 from a professional car restorer who had originally bought the car for his wife who never liked the color to begin with and ended up buying another Porsche to restore for his wife in Gold color and put the blue one on Ebay.The car was shipped to me by a careless driver that ended up cracking the gas tank at delivery, unfortunately for me I did notice the fact one week later as I saw the minor signs of a leak under the gas tank. I emptied the tank and kept it uncap to dry it to have it repaired since the leak was minor and decide to purchase a second used tank in great condition to be on the safe side.My intention was to complete the restoration work and enjoy the car for the East Cost sunny week ends....time went by before and before I had the time to even think about it, winter sets in, the car has been under a double layer of thick tarp to prevent any unnecessary body damages since then.I came to the conclusion that I will not have the time to continue the work done by the previous owner that you can also contact to confirm the following description.The car runs great with all electrical power functioning, the transmission will need to be serviced as well as the engine with new oil has the car has been seating covered on my driveway since June 2012.With car cam a brand new power steering line, new front brake pads, new KN filter, new fuel filter that will need to be installed replacing the old existing one, the actual power steering line has a small leak.I purchased - new hood insulation pad, a used gas tank in great condition in the event that the minor leak cannot be fixed, all new belts ( timing belt-air pump belt-power steering belt- alternator belt-A/C belt)- odometer switch reset- sun roof motor as I was not sure if either the fuse or the relay was not working- sun roof switch- dash board cluster switch knobs- right side mirror as the original was damaged by the careless delivery driver- dash board protective pad- brand new 5 years warranty battery- a second set of german Porsche wheels "phone dial type" with Pirelli P6000 with 7.1x15 for the rear and 6Jx15 for the front in nearly new condition that I will sell separately for $400.00 and not part of this auctionThe car need a new home with a dedicated person that will finish what the previous owner started, it will not take too much to get this car in a beautiful condition.
