The following asset is being offered for sale via internet auction pursuant to an order by the United States Bankruptcy Court For The District of Maryland. Case 13-29607-WIL Cheryl E. Rose-Trustee. N. T. Arrington-Sales Agent Asset is located in Northern Virginia 25 miles west of Washington D.C. Asset Description- Debtor told us he owned this car for37 years. Several parties who have seen the car indicate it was a well known Street Rod for years in Southern Maryland. Debtor inidicated he had not driven car for several years. The Block Numbers Stamped On the Passenger Side Block Read "2488330-1" Second Line Reads "DNRL" Title documents indicate 124950 miles-however TRUE MILES UNKNOWN. Several parties who have inspected the car indicate it is fitted with a Hemi-Possibly a 426-However I cannot verify this and all parties are encouraged to inspect the attached pictures or make an appointment to inspect. The car is equipped with Indy Intake Manifold and Galley Plate with Dual 4 BL Carburetors. We were able to get the car started-however it appears to have a leaking head gasket on the passenger side and coolant will come out the passenger side tail pipe. We ran it long enough to move it off the tow truck and in and out of the warehouse several times. The motor sounded good and showed 60 lbs oil pressure. The oil in the motor is clear/clean and not milky. Transmission is very clean and appears to be a 727 unit with an oil cooler located under the car.. Front axle is subframed and equipped with front disc brakes and power steering. The interior is missing both seats, door panels, front quarter vent windows and door and window crank handles. The Debtor has been non responsive in requests regarding the status of these missing interior parts so bidders should consider them as missing and not avaialable. Winning bidder should assume he will not recover the missing seats/door panels etc. Rear end is heavily boxed and reinforced as seen in photos. Interior is fitted with rear half rollbar and floor mounts are in place for remaining full floor mounted roll cage. Body has one small rustout on drivers side door and one rear trunk hinge has flexed the interior mount on the trunk lid. Rear passenger fender is creased as seen in photos. Rear fuel cell and battery are located in trunk with fuel fill pipe in same area. Rear tires are dry well worn and weather checked and front tires have approximately 50% remaining tread. Tires are mounted on Weld style Wheels. Frame/Floors and Trunk are in solid condition.
