This is a super rare old Nash Lafayette sedan with the ultra rare sleeper bed option. So it has mesh screens that fit in the rear windows, and seats that articulate into a bed! Marketed originally to traveling salesmen for added convenience. All 100% original condition. I found it in Nevada, in the desert. I bought it in 2010 and it has been in storage ever since. Originally intended to build it for my son, Nash... but reality has set in plus mom did not like the idea of him having a bed on wheels.... . The 234.8 six cylinder has been fult rebuilt and runs great. New clutch, 3 speed with working overdrive. Extra spare parts in the trunk. Trunk hinges are broken and reinforced, so they work well but would need to be replaced if you plan to restore the car. From what I understand, the stress cracks are quite common on these. Rare stainless visor also included. Using the term lightly, it runs and drives. Do plan on towing then inspecting the car before you consider it road worthy though, let's be realistic!
