If you watch Counting Cars you may have seen one of these fully restored in 2013. Catch that episode on the web: ‘Dream On’. This started out life as a 1 Ton Dodge Van back in '78. It is equipped with the rare and reliable Chrysler HD440 wedge. This is a true work horse with a thick-walled block, designed to withstand extreme stress and cold weather. It was then shipped by Chrysler to a RV company named 'Dreamer' in California. There it was transformed for sale in 1979 into what you see here with a fiberglass custom 'sleeper' body and side door add on. It was fitted with a 5th wheel receiver, air bag dually suspension and HD Auto transmission. It can pull just about anything as it was built as a tow vehicle for a large 5th wheel motor home and is also equipped with a receiver hitch. Both sides of the beds have built in spare fresh water tanks. There was a pump and a heater installed in the bed rails and working tail gate. This about as seventies as you can get, especially the interior with dual captains swivel chairs, sun roof and Audiovox AM/FM radio! This truck can seat 6 and the rear seat folds out to a bed with blacked out back windows and a side door! This is a rare opportunity to own a true classic, one of only 100 modified Dodge Dreamers made!
