Up for auction at NO RESERVE is a rust free 1984 Jeep CJ7 Renegade restoration project.To the best of my knowledge this Jeep has not been driven since 2001. It is currently on Non-Op.It is completely original with the hard top, hard doors, 6 cyl engine, manual transmission, original paint, and AIR CONDITIONING.One side of the Jeep sat parked in the sun for years and the other side was shaded. The paint is extremely faded on one side. I would consider this Jeep to be rust free. The floor boards are in fantastic undamaged condition. Underneith the drivers side where the rubber piece is on the carpet there is some surface rust but no holes and I do not beleive the integirty of the metal has been jeoprodized. The wheel wells are in perfect shape and I can not find any rust damage or repair at all on the Jeep. It does have some minor denting on the drivers side as ilustrated in the pictues and a dent behind the drivers side wheel. Looks like something simple to fix. The front bumper is the only piece that appears to be missing.The interior is original and shot from the sun eating it away. The hard top is perfect on the inside, but has a crack next to the rear window on the outside. I have no idea if it runs nor am I willing to try. I do not want to damage the engine by tinkering with it because I do not have enough knowledge to repair it. Please feel free to ask questions and if you would like to see a picture of an area I missed I would be glad to post it.This Jeep is being sold in as-is condition and is for local pickup only. I will not ship this Jeep at all, but I will cooperate with a shipping company once I have been paid. I will only accept cash or cashiers check. On May-06-14 at 08:18:31 PDT, seller added the following information: I have been told by a few eBayers that the Jeep is actually a Laredo and not a Renegade. I can not change the description nor do I want to start the bidding over. Honestly I am not sure if it is a Laredo as I was also told it was a Renegade. Who knows, this is still an as-is sale, what you see is what you get. If it is a Laredo from my understanding it is much more desirable then the Renegade especially in the black color combination.
