This Maxima is in superb condition for a vehicle with 186,500 miles. I purchased the vehicle in 2005 at 17,000 miles. My wife is the primary driver and she travels 90 miles to/from work everyday in open highway driving. The engine is quiet and smooth and the transmission shifts perfectly through all gears as it did when originally purchased. The engine has been run on Mobil One synthetic 5W-30 oil with changes occuring every 3000 to 3500 miles. The engine uses 1/2 quart of oil between changes. The transmission has had the fluid changed three times, at 50,000, 100,000 and 150,000 miles. The transmission valve body and pump were replaced with genuine Nissan parts at the 150,000 fluid change to turn off a "check engine" light. There is a rattle in the front end that my front end alignment mechanic says may be a strut mount but he did not see any play on either front mount. The tires are seeing no unusual wear. The paint on the vehicle is very good with front end stone chips consistent with the mileage. There is a small 1 inch dent at the bottom of passenger side front door. The top of the outside mirrors are beginning to show some sun fade. A full set of Owner's Manuals are included with the vehicle.
