ITEM DESCRIPTION- Up for auction is my one-of-a-kind custom 1995 MZ MuZ Silver Star Classic. It is powered the bullet-proof Rotax 504E 500cc single cylinder engine of dirt track racing fame. The bike has a five speed transmission, kick and electric start, and only 10,559 kilometers (6561 miles) total mileage. It's in great condition, check out the pictures. Everything has been either polished, powder coated, or freshly painted. The bike has always been garaged and has never been ridden in inclement weather. Some of the major modifications include: NOS Export Suzuki GSX250 Fuel Tank w. Pintel Petcock New MAXXIS Promaxx Tires New ACCEL Aluminum Wheels w. LOTS of MZ spare parts go with this bike, including: New Factory Chain Gaiters, Bing Carburetor Brake calipers, Complete Rotax engine gasket set, and much more The bike runs, stops, and handles like new. All needed (and a lot of un-needed) maintenance has been performed (rebuilt fork, new front brake pads and rear shoes, rebuilt carburetor, new chain and sprockets, new front and rear wheel bearings, etc.). I have more $$ into this bike than I can ever recover. This MZ thumper is an absolute blast to ride. Please ask any questions you may have and I'll respond quickly. I can not ride anymore due to health issues is the "why" I'm selling. It has been sitting over the winter, but I've been starting it regularly. The Bing carburetor will need cleaning and a new carb kit (o-rings and new diaphragm) as it runs a little rich. These kits are readily available from Bing, and this bike has the same Bing CV carb as found on the older BMW airheads. While the seat and fuel tank are secure, it could use fabricated brackets to hard-mount them more rigidly to the frame. It has a current Alabama title, and is located in North Alabama near Huntsville. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I will assist in any way I can.
