This is a ,very nice 1968 280S W108. Had been in dry storage for 14-16 years when I purchased. The sellers said they stopped driving because it needed a transmission, they had purchased a used transmission but never got around to putting it in the car, this transmission comes with the car. Speedometer shows 81369, title shows exempt, I guess it could be 181369 but car does not look like it has that much on it. Car was last registered in 1997 but tags never put on car. Car shows no visible rust, I will not say it does not have any rust because this is Indiana. I looked and can not find any rust. It is a sold orginal car. Very good chrome trim. Interior needs cleaned up but looks like it will clean up very nicely, see picture of drivers door panel (only one I cleaned so far). Engine does not turn over, locked up from sitting for so long. Needs the tranmission installed, could use paint, some of the wood trim inside needs to be replace. Delivery could be arranged for a charge.
