parked on a porch and under a bmw cover since last being on the road in 2001. the fellow from whom I purchased the bike,,, bought it from the original owner and shortly there after the fuel pump took a crap. that fellow not being too mechanical , put his faith in a friend who was sure he could repair the bike NOT EVEN KNOWING WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS !!.. so, off with the plastic and that's as far as he got. . long story short, I bought it from the second owner , installed a new fuel pump, cleaned the injectors, changed the oil, fueled it up & started it. fired up no problem , motor sounded good mechanically with the clutch & gearbox working as designed.. I WOULD SUGGEST THE PURCHASE OF A INJECTOR CLEANING KIT TO INSURE A BETTER JOB THAN I DID. TIRES ARE NO GOOD SHOWING CRACKS IN THE SIDEWALL, REAR BRAKE WORKS BUT DRAGS. NEEDS THE FRONT MASTER REBUILT. <<<< TRUST ME,, ALL THE PLASTIC IS THERE AND WAS REMOVED FROM THE BIKE WHEN I GOT IT. ALL IS IN GOOD SHAPE WITH NO ROADRASH ECT. THE ALUMIUM TANK HAS SOME SCRATCHES FROM TAKING ON & OFF , NO DENTS & CAN BE TOUCHED UP. IF IT IS DEEMED NECESSARY, I WILL PULL THE PLASTIC DOWN FROM THE LOFT & TAKE PHOTO'S. THERE ARE A LOT OF PIECES FOR THAT BEAST.!!! ALL KEYS ARE WITH THE BIKE INCLUDING SADDLE BAG KEYS. WARRANTY BOOK, OWNERS MANUAL, SOME RECEIPTS ECT.
