Model: Ford Mustang V-8 302 Couple, Automatic Year: 1968 VIN#: 8R01J156902 1968 Ford Mustang Coupe 302 Automatic This solid Mustang coupe, with Deluxe interior, was in California, no rust, where I bought it about ten years ago. Recently completed professional rotisserie restoration (see photos), Jasper-built replacement engine 302 V-8, with automatic transmission; power brakes, power steering, Holley 4-barrel new carb, all new brakes, brake lines, suspension, paint, interior, wiring harness, and other parts. Restoration to daily driver level, not a Concours show-car level. Rare white-on-white factory color that is beautiful. Upgraded interior vinyl to leather on seats and trim. All colors original, including black carpet, refinished overhead and floor consoles, new NOS tachometer, and tilt-a-way steering that works great. Turn off ignition, and open driver door, and the steering tilts away from you to ease exit. Steering is after-market, put in as interim solution till I could get original Deluxe wheel restored (see photo, included in sale). New tires, after-market wide aluminum wheels, all systems are new, all replacement parts and trim were NOS collected over the years, just 69 miles since coming out of restoration. Changed life circumstances compel sale of this really nice car that runs like a new car. Strong acceleration, dual exhaust, light headers installed, and an accessory instrument panel installed with special fittings so that all warning lights would also work.
