Up for auction is a 1988 Pontiac Trans AM Convertible. This is a rare car that the factory had sent to ASC (american sunroof corpration) to have the convertible conversion put on the car when it was new. This car has been in storage for a few years, still runs and drives but I would recomend it be checked over before driven to make sure everything is functioning properly. This car does have the original Tuned Port Injected 5.0 litre engine and original automatic transmission both in good working order. The body has some small rust and dings in it, I was going to have the body redone but just have to many projects going on so decided to put it up for sale. The underside of the car is solid. The convertible top was just replaced with a brand new ($1100.00) top before it was put in storage. The seats in the car are the original ones and have some rips in them but I do have another set of TA seats in good shape that go with the car. I had alot of fun in this car back in the day, it was very reliable and with alittle TLC this would make a great car for summer cruising.
