COLLECTOR QUALITY 1975 SUZUKI RV125 TRACKER, FOUR SPEED TRANSMISSION WITH HIGH AND LOW RANGE, 994 ORIGINAL MILES I acquired this bike locally as part of a multi-bike purchase and have decided to pass it along to someone who really appreciates the Suzuki RV Tracker series. This one is the nicest I have seen in years with the original grips, handlebars, switchgear, levers, tires, other rubber parts, chain, sprockets and lighting all still in place and in excellent condition. The bike starts on the first kick and idles quietly. It will also go down the road effortlessly at secondary highway speeds. RV 125s come with a dual range 4 speed transmission. Four low gears for trail crawling and four higher ones for the highway. Both the speedometer and tachometer function correctly with no fogging of the lenses. Yes, the bike can be licensed in all states and should qualify for an antique or classic plate. The bike shows no signs at all of being laid down hard but there are some marks on the grip ends and on the rubber cover at end of the lever on the throttle side. Everything else is amazingly unmarked, original and nearly new. Cables function smoothly and look new. The last owner did a nice refinish of the fenders and recovered the seat. The bike comes with a full original tool kit. Not all the lights are currently working. This is common for bikes run without a battery (or with an old dead battery) as this tends to blow the bulbs at higher rpms. Currently, the headlight works on low beam and the horn struggles to beep but never quite does it. Turn signals, instrument bulbs and tail light do not work. The last owner recently installed a new battery but it has not been charged. The bike was originally owned by a woman in Lubbock, Texas who sold it to a Suzuki dealer in Lubbock in 1999. It sat in his showroom as a static display until 2010 when it was sold to an older gentleman who lives near me. He rode it occasionally but just recently decided to put his bikes up for sale. This bike comes with a bill of sale only because the title was lost by that first owner in Lubbock. You will also receive full documentation back to her letter apologizing to the dealer for losing the title. Your state has a process for getting a replacement title which will allow you to license the bike for the street if you wish. Bike also comes with a reproduction factory service manual. RV 125s are gentle, easy to ride bikes for both adults and teenagers and make a great first bike. They are also ideal for the mountains, campgrounds and running to the corner store. The seat is even long enough for three if you can find two brave passengers! Take a good look at the pictures. This one is in fantastic condition. It would take very little to make it a show bike or to return it to road use. Or you can just enjoy it as it is for years to come. Both are in showroom condition. On some collector bikes, the chrome looks good in pictures but shows signs of pitting when seen in person. Not so here. The chrome and bodywork look as good as they did when the bike was still new. No disappointments here.
