Vehicle Detail
Hello. I've been a Honda motorcycle owner three times before this purchase and have been riding now for over 20 years. I must say that Honda did it right when they released this bike in 2010. They are fast, responsive, and as reliable as it gets. I recently purchase another sport touring motorcycle and don't have the time (or the money) to own them both. Because of this I'm offering my mint condition 2010 Honda VFR1200FD (Dual Clutch Transmission) Sport Touring Motorcycle for sale. I purchased this bike brand new in October of 2012 from a Honda dealership in Iowa (Still in the crate). When I picked it up it actually had 0 miles on the odometer. Since then I've changed the engine and shaft drive oil (at 1000 miles), added $1200 in mandatory extras (in my opinion), and only ride it on weekends. It's never seen rain nor has it sit in the sun for prolonged periods of time. It's parked in my garage on a trickle charger when not in use. The following items were purchased and installed by myself. 1. Two Brothers Carbon Fiber "Black Series" Slip on Exhaust Pipe (Original Exhaust Pipe Included) - $440 2. Replacement Carbon Fiber Pattern Seat with Extra Padding - $380 3. Dark Smoke Zero Gravity Windscreen - $95 4. Carbon Fiber "Honda Racing" Tank Protector - $40 5. Heli-Bar Risers (Original Bars Included) - $300For those individuals that aren't familiar with this particular motorcycle, the following information is provided. This version of the VFR motorcycle was released in 2010 and were offered in two different models, both with 6 speed transmissions. The first model, the VFR1200F, is just like the motorcycles you're use to riding. It has a clutch lever on the left side handlebar and a shift lever for the left foot. The MSRP listed on that bike title was $15,999. The second model, the VFR1200FD (Dual Clutch Transmission) comes with a fully automatic mode that will upshift and downshift just like an automatic transmission on any car (Yes, it actually shift gears by itself). The automatic transmission has a standard mode and a sport mode. The sport mode shifts gears at higher RPMs for a more sporty ride. It also has a manual transmission mode that you paddle shift with your left fingers (index finger for upshifting and your thumb for downshifting). This is the mode I prefer. Paddle shifting with your fingers is exactly like shifting with your left foot but without a clutch. The MSRP listed on my title is $17,999.I'm not a business. I'm not required to collect tax on a private party sale in Arizona. The price you see it the total price you pay, nothing else.
