Vehicle Detail

This auction is for my 1952 Studebaker Commander 4 "suicide" door model. It's showing just under 91000 miles on the odometer. I acquired it ten years ago for a project and, ultimately, to rent as a "studio car" - a car which movie studios will rent from time to time. The previous owner had success doing that. It has the V-8 engine and drivetrain and is mechanically all original Studebaker, right down to the 6-vold electrical system. The steering wheel currently on the car is the original, but not in great condition and I have had it "leather wrapped." I also have the original horn ring, but it is not pictured or mounted in the steering wheel. I have an extra steering wheel which is pictured, and also an extra horn ring and horn ring center emblem, both of which come with the car, but they are not originally from a 52 Commander. I converted the front brakes to disc brakes two years ago, but have the original brake parts which will be included in the sale. The air filter and the air filter canister are not mounted, but I will re-mount before shipping. Inside the gauges are all original and are all functioning properly. The interior was recently replaced (less than a year ago), including the headliner, front and back seat upholstery, door panels, carpeting and sun visors. The engine runs great and the carburettor was recently rebuilt. The transmission shifts perfectly. There is a little rust coming under one of the rear fenders. All four tires and the spare are new with less than 500 miles driven on them. This is a car that gets looks all the time when driving around town. The car is for sale locally and could be sold and the auction ended at any time. There are no warranties of any kind. Transportation is at the buyers expense. I can recommend some haulers if needed. $1,000 non-refundable deposit through PayPal required upon purchasing the car. Please feel free to ask any and all questions about the car and I'll do the best I can to answer them. GOOD LUCK!!!
