This Packard is a very rare model, unique to this year. A true barn find. We pulled it out of a slumber in a garage where it had been for decades, brought it to California to begin building it into a Panamericana race car, but the client changed his mind and decided not to pursue the project. So we had cut off the body mount bolts, removed the bumpers, cut the steering column, and lifted the body off to start doing the engineering review of the chassis. Nothing further has been done. Original factory paint and interior still present. Automatic transmission. Great dash design! A wonderful and worth project car. Ever seen one before? 327 straight eight motor. Motor not frozen. Car rolls. Very clean body, although it will require work on the floors. Reportedly one of fifty made in 1951, as this model was not officially launched until 1952. Please note that photos shown are in chronological order (with the exception of the groovy dude in the vintage photo, prior owner!). First shots in the driveway are as we found it, then shop shot of it shows how far we had it apart, then the parking lot photos show it's current condition. Buyer must pay $150 document fee in addition to winning bid. In State buyers required to pay DMV fees and applicable taxes.
