endgame 2004 BMW R1150R Rockster This is a 2004 BMW R1150R Rockster with just 16,916 miles. The bike was purchased from insurance company in 2008 with the intention of exporting it but we have since gone out of that business and it was kinda left behind. It has been sitting in the garage since then. The bike is practically complete, there are a few parts missing such as levers, clutch master cylinder, left mirror and rider footpegs. The bike has twisted tail frame and other damage to the gas tank, front fender and front turnsignals, also left exhaust header is dented. The front forks/suspension appear to be ok, and I say appear since I haven't rode the bike. The engine turns over freely but I was unable to get it running due to clogged fuel injectors. The bike started and ran fine back in 2008 though. All lights/switches etc. work fine. The bike has Florida Certificate of Destruction or C/D kind of title which cannot be rebuilt in most states. I have been planning on fixing it and with that in mind I got a replacement frame and subframe from another bike. This replacement frame comes with it's own rebuildable salvage title. This bike is being sold primarily as a project, export or parts bike. You can either use it for parts or rebuild it around that replacement frame. The replacement frame and subframe as well as side covers are included and as mentioned earlier they come with a separate rebuildable salvage title. This bike is obviously for someone with enough time for such project. I will consider all reasonable offers. Will prefer buyers who are able to come and pick up in person.
