Vehicle Detail
Here is my 1972 BMW R75/5 mild cafe conversion. The bike was converted to dual front disc brakes, long wheel base swingarm and subframe and leather Corbin Gunfighter solo seat. Bike has new gloss black paint, new sealed Westco battery, lots of new rubber bits to include all rubber for mounting fenders, headlight ears, etc, new down tube seals (I retorqued heads, adjusted valves and end play after replacing these....engine is nice and quiet), new fork gators, handgrips, footpegs, shifter rubber, and lots of other small bits (new correct braided fuel lines, etc). Bike also has new fluids in forks, trans, drive shaft and final drive, engine has fresh oil and filter, and new air filter is also installed. All electrics, lights, and mechanicals work as they should and the bike runs great. Speedometer and tach work but mileage is listed as 69,000 (listed on title).....I believe odometer is not correct and would need rebuilding...it shows 23,955....Ill answer all questions. One more thing, the Maltese Cross on the rear fender is a nice reproduction of a World War I (not WW2 so no banned symbols) German Iron Cross 1st Class and is included in the sale, it unscrews and is not permanently attached. Good luck and happy bidding. This bike is now relisted starting at $4200 with no reserve.
