The big "C" got hold of me a few years ago and won't let go so I've decided it's time to start selling my classic cars (4). This is a 1956 Lincoln Premiere that I purchased from the second owner approximately 2 years ago. He owned it for about 5 years but never registered it. What he did do was all of the exterior body work. Rust was cut out and replaced with metal. What he did was very well done but it still needs the inner rocker panels and inner gravel shields finished. There is some rust in the trunk that needs attention also. My intention at the time was to build a leadsled, complete with chopped top. That's not going to happen. I bought the car at the time because I felt good but have never been able to work on it. I paid someone to do the mechanical work for me to make sure the car starts, runs and stops since it hasn't been registered since 1978. *Note: Photos were taken last Fall before the car was put back in storage. New: Brakes & wheel cylinders (F&R)....Flexible/Rubber brake lines....Rear brake lines-copper clad....Fuel pump....Battery....Fuel tank sending unit, tank cleaned & sealed Radiator hoses....Battery box rebuilt All glass is good, all gauges work, all interior & exterior trim is present, dash & headliner are perfect. Interior was removed to do body work. It has been "loosely" installed to show it's all there & it's condition. Front bumper is driver quality, rear needs to be redone. Tail light pot metal is bad & lenses are broken. Needs tailpipes which along with tires were to be put on when registered. I think the water pump might be starting to leak. Opening bid is far less than my investment but I just need to sell it. Once bidding starts I will not pull the listing. Connecticut is a non-title state for vehicles over 20 years old so vehicle will be sold with a Connecticut bill of sale. This car is sold "as is" with no warranty. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I will have someone to assist with loading. The car is for sale locally and can be sold at any time. $500.00 non-refundable deposit within 48 hours of auction end. Remainder to be paid by check or bank transfer within 7 days of auction end.
