I have a 1966 AMC rambler american 2 door 440 trim 6 cylinder for sale. I am the third owner of this car, It was purchased new at Kiva Motors in albuquerque, nm by a lady named stella. She owned the rambler until 1979 when she sold it to another lady by the name of Rose. Rose drove this rambler from 1979 to 1989 when she parked it. It sat at her house under a carport from 1989 until I bought it in 2013.This car was originally blue on blue. It has a inline 232 six cylinder and 2 speed automatic transmission. When I bought the car I put some gas in it and a battery, however it would not start. I did however get it to start by using carb cleaner in the carb and cranking it. I checked the fuel pump and it was working so I assume the fuel line from the tank is plugged. I had planned on doing a v8 swap in this car so I unhooked most of the stuff in the engine bay. The brakes didn't have any fluid in them when I got the car, so I put some in and pumped up the pedal. The pedal did get firm but not for long because it pumped all the fluid out of the drivers rear wheel cylinder. I removed all of the interior to have it redone. The carpet was thrown away. THE FLOOR BOARDS ARE SOLID!!! I do still have the front lay back split bench seat and the rear bench seat, both of them need to be redone.. While I was messing with trying to get it to start I tested the lights, radio, and windshield wipers and all of them worked. THIS IS A SOUTHWESTERN CAR!!!
